Construction is on Schedule for Sidney Expansion

As we approach the end of May, work on the Sidney expansion project continues to move forward as scheduled.

So far crews have installed 19,000 feet of pipe for the project with 22,000 more to go.  We are grateful to the community for your patience while we install the infrastructure needed to bring gas to your homes.

Crews will focus on installing pipe along Middle Road in June and July and then will begin installing service lines to homes and businesses throughout the community as weather permits.

Sidney community members and businesses continue to take advantage of reliable, safe and affordable natural gas by signing up for service. So far, we’ve signed up enough customers on the following streets to bring natural gas service to them in 2018:

Trafton Road
Middle Road from Trafton Road to just past Rusty’s Way
Blue Ridge Drive W
Richard Rd.
Lyons Road to Pike Industries
Mia Ridge*

Once we are able to secure more customers, we hope to be able to bring service down the following rods as well before the end of construction season – if you live on one of these roads, join your neighbors and sign up now!

East Blue Ridge Dr.
Cari Way
Field Rd
Jandreau Way
Kelly Cir
Rebecca Dr.
Sunset Ridge
Johns Way
Lisa Ridge
Jurdak Dr.

Natural gas is a clean, affordable and reliable energy source that not only heats your home but can also deliver better cooking, more efficient clothes dryers, and a warm patio on a fall evening. Call now to find out what natural gas can do for you.

To make converting to natural gas more affordable we are offering as much as $3,550 in rebates to residential customers and $6,800 in rebates to commercial customers.
